Welcome to New Members –  Geri O’Brien

Please lend a hearty welcome to Grace Lin,  Lauren Kolesa, Caroline Panico and Robin Dawson

Grace: The wide range of activities of some of the RCR including trail and multi-marathon running has inspired Grace.  She also enjoys participating in triathlons and likes the therapeutic effects of yoga afterwards.  Grace is a lawyer at a firm in Newark and lives in Millburn.

Lauren is getting back into running after taking time off to marry her husband, Larry in 2001 and begin raising two children.  She ran her first marathon while running with RCR from 1996 –2001.  At that time she also ran with the Nabisco Corporate Team.  Lauren is planning on completing another marathon next year.

Caroline just started running this past January and has already run several 10K’s and two Half-marathons.  She is hoping to get into the NYC marathon in 2009. She lives in Chatham and has a four-year-old daughter.  She is also happy to be part of the 40’s racing team.

Robin has been running with his two dogs, Sparky and Gretel in the Hounds & Harriers for several years.  Barbara encouraged him to join the club and now he is enjoying that also.  Robin works for Digital Imaging Systems in Clinton and lives in Princeton.

Whether trying to get back into shape or working up to your first marathon, you will be inspired by the advice and support of the other RCR runners.  We invite you all to come out and enjoy a run in the woods.

See you all Saturday at 9:00 AM.
